4/15/2024 0 Comments Toy story 3 incinerator theme![]() ![]() Many online sites like Bricklink say this set has 3 figs, counting just Woody and the aliens since they're the only standard minifigs with legs. Anyone wanting a claw crane for their own MOC will want this set just for this part (or get them on Bricklink of course, where you can get the whole unit for a few dollars currently) Adding the rubber band makes a very nice and easy to play with claw - this is Lego engineering at its best. When clipped together, the blades interlock so that they all move in unison. ![]() There is a center pivot and 4 claw blades. The most interesting part of the set - the crane claw. Not a big deal, but it'd be nice if it wasn't like this. I suspect the belt was just squished in the box during shipping and in the store. It's actually pretty stiffly stuck in this position, so it doesn't work smoothly. We don't have many of these in our collection yet, so this is a very welcome array for building our own structures.Īs you can see, our conveyor belt isn't nicely round. This set has a good assortment of girder and panel parts. They sure didn't make that back when I was a kid! Well, apparently that brick with grooves has been around for ages, but it's the first time I've seen one. Some of the more interesting parts - a turntable that clicks through its rotation, a pair of tall flames, some bricks with grooves (one side of the bricks have vertical grooves and the other has horizontal, so you can use either direction in your own builds), and a small rubber band. It fills an entire drawer in my son's storage box by itself. There may only be 370 parts in this set, but they're big. They're bright and colorful with only a few parts being added per step like other modern Lego manuals. One book builds the crane and control tower, while the other builds the dumper, conveyor, and incinerator. There are two manuals (image from Bricklink since my son managed to lose them already!). The box (image from Brickset since my son's box was thrown away) is a great ad for the set in my opinion. Minifigs: 3 (or 5, depending on what you count as a fig vs a part) ![]() He did insist on being the one to put the stickers on, so apologies in advance for crooked sticker placement :) He actually got several other sets as well, and since he was entranced with them, I was able to build this first. ![]() This scene is the darkest ever made in any Pixar film.My 4 year old son loves Lego, so for his birthday some relatives gave him the Toy Story 3 Trash Compactor Escape set.In Toy Story 2, the Prospector says that the toys would be thrown and burned in some landfill. The Buzz Lightyear of Star Command episode "Stranger Invasion" has Emperor Zurg requesting incinerators instead of a standard garbage smasher in a new base, as they would be far more difficult to escape from.Hamm and Slinky decide to get revenge on Lotso for leaving them to die however, Woody talks them out of it, saying it's not worth it. Potato Head thank the Aliens for saving them. As the aliens put their friends down safely, Buzz and Jessie are the only ones still holding hands. However, at the last minute, the Aliens, who had gone to a different part of the dump, save all the toys with a giant crane. The toys then close their eyes and await their fate. Woody looks at all his friends holding hands and then joins them by grabbing Buzz and Slinky's free hands. Afterwards, Slinky Dog grabs Hamm's hoof, and Hamm uses his free hoof to grab Rex's hand. Jessie then grabs one of Bullseye's hooves with her free hand. As the toys near their fiery demise, Buzz looks at Jessie and grabs her hand. However, instead of pushing the button to save Andy's toys, Lotso runs off and leaves them to die. Woody and Buzz Lightyear give a boost and he climbs up the ladder and reaches the button. Lots-o'-Huggin' Bear then spots a ladder leading to a stop button to stop the conveyor belt. Rex, Woody, and the other toys run for their lives. Woody says it's not daylight, but the light of an incinerator, which appears to show an enormous fire in the center. The Incinerator is a location at the Tri-County Landfill and part of the climax of Toy Story 3.Īfter escaping the shredders, Rex sees a light, thinking it's daylight. Woody witnessing the incinerator from afar. ![]()
